Poetiquette Band on Artizan Music

Formerly ‘Rare Unit’, the 8 piece live outfit Poetiquette have been synonymous with Artizan’s bosses Jafar and Andy ‘Touch’fingers, since Rare Unit’s first three releases on the Kwaito Recordings imprint back in 2003. Since then, the group has developed considerably into a collective of seasoned musicians now boasting drummer Toby Goodman (Kid Creole & The Coconuts/ Beverley Knight / Anna Krantz) and bassist Pete Billington (Alison Moyet/ Jamie Cullum).  Poetiquette calls upon a rich musical heritage and diversity, something that contributes greatly to both their live sets and studio works. Poetiquette are:

Following the ‘Lyrically Speaking’ long player in 2008, Poetiquette will be dropping a second album on Artizan Soul, later in 2009. Lead singer Hannah Khemoh also features on Poussez’s Passin Thru’ on Tonecontrol music, in between her solo and session work for the Reel People.
