Jafar & Maxime Cescau will be rocking 3 hours b2b of all their latest studio works, wrapped around a healthy dose of Artizan Music‘s freshest cuts and all the finest in modern Deep House. In support, is Pins & Needles label head honcho Philipp Ort b2b with production partner Scott D’Souza. Ort & D’Souza’s remix talents feature on the Poussez EP alongside remixes from woman of the moment Claire Ripley (Dessous) and our very own Canadian superstars EZLV.

Intergalactic fighter-pilots Poussez will be celebrating the success of their latest release on Aki Bergen’s Neurotraxx Deluxe, joined by Swedish Techno producer, and man behind one of the most recent releases on Artizan Music, Jesper Aubin . Meanwhile, in the upstairs bar more gorgeous funk, nu-disco and future boogie from Champs, Matt Seeney, Alena Arpels, Allie Cook and Lil Dom on percussion..

Flying in direct from headlining Space Ibiza’s closing party, Tom is going to be performing one of his exclusive live sets, showcasing all his latest material, that has caused such a ruckus on hot shit labels like Hypercolour, Liebe*Detail, Dessous and Geddes’ superb Murmur. Nuff said.

Meanwhile, in the upstairs bar, we’ve more delicious space funk, future boogie, nu-disco and re-edits from Lost My Dog’s brill TOM LOWN, KID FIESTA who runs the Monster Cuts parties at Horse & Groom and was the brains behind the short-lived, yet oh so brilliant Bloom festival. MATT YOUNG a superb eclectic DJ and man behind the itchysoul show on House FM. Last but by no means least, we have the lovely ALLIE COOK…Yes, finally a female DJ at UTBD…and a bloody good one at that! LIL DOM also returns on his latin percussion. Toot Toot!

Anyone frequenting the Notting Hill Arts Club will know just how rich its Sunday party heritage is: Our very own Uptownboogiedown began life there, Stuart Patterson & Leo Elstob’s infamous Sundaysonic and of course the legendary Lazy Dog, compered by Buzzin’ Fly’s Ben Watt and one of tonight’s headliners, Jay Hannan..

As Ben went on to run his record label, Jay stayed to run the UnderDog night with our good friend Mark Hope. Mark unsurprisingly also happens to be the man behind this rather tasty little fundraiser at Fluid, Farringdon on Thursday 20th October..

IN THE LOOP is a charity night all in aid of The Bromley By Bow Centre, a pioneering voluntary organisation in East London. Working in one of the most deprived hospital wards in the UK, each week they support over 2000 families, young people and adults of all ages to learn new skills, improve their health and wellbeing, find employment and develop the confidence to achieve their goals and transform their lives..

Headlining then, is Artizan Music’s main men Poussez, still celebrating recent signings to 3AM, Pins & Needles and the fantastic italian label Neurotraxx Deluxe and of course Lazy Dog’s brilliant Jay Hannan. Mark Hope of course rounds proceedings off.

So come on down straight from work. Happy hour is on 17-19.00, with 2-4-1 on premium Asahi and cocktails reduced to £4. Fluid’s lovely sushi restaurant is open until 10pm and you don’t have to pay anything to get in, but its all for Charity so if you can put something in the bucket for a good cause it all helps! Runs through till 3am….The weekend starts here!!

Our fave swede Andreas Saag returns after wowing us all at UTBD @ East Village last year. He flies in from his new home in Berlin, for another of his special LIVE sets. Andreas of course, also behind a slew of stellar works on labels like Freerange, Pias, Rebirth, SLS and Danny Howells Dig Deeper. Finally, warming proceedings up, but no less note worthy, are our Canadian duo EZLV who fly in from Montreal, armed with plenty of that deep magic that made their Artizan single so popular..

As if that wasn’t enough to get your knees wobbling, room.1. sees Freerange’s Jimpster, Running Back’s Gerd Janson, Wobble’s Terry Francis and a live set from man of the moment Tensnake! Room 2. hosts Andrew Weatherall’s Wrong Meeting and he is joined by Ivan Smagghe and Pierre LX!

In the basement, SHUR-I-KAN joins your huggable ressies POUSSEZ, whilst our very own EIGHTBITRATE, fresh from Holic and Muak, headlines upstairs alongside Artizan compadre W10, london DJ Nick Ronin, aka winner in our Podcast comp and man behind the Basis parties. We also have POJ of mixed Grill fame, cooking up a storm and promising UTBD newcomer Owen Howells, who has so impressed us with his up and coming productions. Lots of you lovely peeps have been asking us when Artizan will throw another Uptownboogiedown. The truth be told, we’re not till maybe July or August (Boo!). See, thing is, Jafar and Maxime are concentrating on their album and in order to give you guys the parties you deserve, we needed 6 months out..All is however, not lost – cos we’re all going to this party, even nigel our cat. And he never goes out. Except to poop on Max’s lawn..

Yes Saturday June 11th sees Jafar & Maxime Cescau don their Poussez underpants and headline for this excellent shoreditch nighter run by our good friends Kev Smith and Killemilio (Emile of course has repped for Artizan many times). Housed at The workshop, otherwise known as the hot, new basement space below popular Old St venue Roadtrip, Poussez join ressies Kev, Emile and Nic Liu & Tommy  - otherwise known as the young, talented guns behind very promising parties like SuperCool or Not a Rave..

Musically its going to be an ace blend of all things tech-house, techno and electronic, so pack your bouncy shoes, its rocking through until 5am!
