All our London fans will be very familiar with Brick Lane’s thriving nightlife scene; 93ft East, Vibe Bar, BrickHouse, Rhythm Factory, Big Chill Bar and of course Cafe 1001.  Located slap bang in the thick of the action at the infamous Truman Brewery, Cafe1001 is a brilliant club, bar, chill lounge and offers the perfect combination of elements (food, energy juices, alcohol etc), to kick start your evenings shenanigans..

Saturday 10th March sees us join our old friend Paddy Freeform from the excellent Universal Vibes record label (home to a Poussez release or two!) in the main club space. Its a FREE session of proper deep house and warm techno, piped through FUNKTION1 sound 7pm-midnight..

Maxime Cescau is away taking the Artizan vibes to the middle east so Jafar will represent the Poussez, for a 5 hour b2b with UV head honcho Mister Freeform…

Yes peoples, Artizan Music is getting its jog on at this years Virgin London Marathon, Poussez’s very own Jafar will be running 26 miles for The Rainforest Foundation who protect the Amazonian Rainforests and rights of indigenous tribes..

Join us then for this little fundraising party in conjunction with our good friend and fellow Marathon runner Franc ‘Kid Fiesta’ Gooding (he of the Bloom Festival fame!). Franc’s chosen charity is Ability Bow who help disabled and injured people get back on their feet..

Joining Poussez and Kid Fiesta on the wheels is a mahooosive all-star cast including DubPistols frontman Barry Ashworth, East Village lynchpin Stuart Patterson, Reverberations superb Asad Rizvi, Holic’s number one Japanese House hero Tomoki Tamura, Ben Watt’s Buzzin Fly wingman Chris Woodward,  Lost My Dog’s Tom Lown, Size Doesn’t Matters’ lethal 7″ turntablists Simon Kurrage & Mr Shiver, Intercity’s Scott D’Souza, Mimo’s Chris Mimo, Basis’ Nick Ronin, Jerk’s Toby Phickle annnd finally UTBD’s wizard percussionist Lil Dom..

Flying in direct from headlining Space Ibiza’s closing party, Tom is going to be performing one of his exclusive live sets, showcasing all his latest material, that has caused such a ruckus on hot shit labels like Hypercolour, Liebe*Detail, Dessous and Geddes’ superb Murmur. Nuff said.

Meanwhile, in the upstairs bar, we’ve more delicious space funk, future boogie, nu-disco and re-edits from Lost My Dog’s brill TOM LOWN, KID FIESTA who runs the Monster Cuts parties at Horse & Groom and was the brains behind the short-lived, yet oh so brilliant Bloom festival. MATT YOUNG a superb eclectic DJ and man behind the itchysoul show on House FM. Last but by no means least, we have the lovely ALLIE COOK…Yes, finally a female DJ at UTBD…and a bloody good one at that! LIL DOM also returns on his latin percussion. Toot Toot!

Anyone frequenting the Notting Hill Arts Club will know just how rich its Sunday party heritage is: Our very own Uptownboogiedown began life there, Stuart Patterson & Leo Elstob’s infamous Sundaysonic and of course the legendary Lazy Dog, compered by Buzzin’ Fly’s Ben Watt and one of tonight’s headliners, Jay Hannan..

As Ben went on to run his record label, Jay stayed to run the UnderDog night with our good friend Mark Hope. Mark unsurprisingly also happens to be the man behind this rather tasty little fundraiser at Fluid, Farringdon on Thursday 20th October..

IN THE LOOP is a charity night all in aid of The Bromley By Bow Centre, a pioneering voluntary organisation in East London. Working in one of the most deprived hospital wards in the UK, each week they support over 2000 families, young people and adults of all ages to learn new skills, improve their health and wellbeing, find employment and develop the confidence to achieve their goals and transform their lives..

Headlining then, is Artizan Music’s main men Poussez, still celebrating recent signings to 3AM, Pins & Needles and the fantastic italian label Neurotraxx Deluxe and of course Lazy Dog’s brilliant Jay Hannan. Mark Hope of course rounds proceedings off.

So come on down straight from work. Happy hour is on 17-19.00, with 2-4-1 on premium Asahi and cocktails reduced to £4. Fluid’s lovely sushi restaurant is open until 10pm and you don’t have to pay anything to get in, but its all for Charity so if you can put something in the bucket for a good cause it all helps! Runs through till 3am….The weekend starts here!!

Spain’s Nacho Marco – man behind so many stellar tracks on labels like Odori, Plastic City, Freerange, OM, Pacha and of course his own LoudEast. Our fave swede Andreas Saag returns after wowing us all at UTBD @ East Village last year. He flies in from his new home in Berlin, for another of his special LIVE sets. Andreas of course, also behind a slew of stellar works on labels like Freerange, Pias, Rebirth, SLS and Danny Howells Dig Deeper. Finally, warming proceedings up, but no less note worthy, are our Canadian duo EZLV who fly in from Montreal, armed with plenty of that deep magic that made their Artizan single so popular..

As if that wasn’t enough to get your knees wobbling, room.1. sees Freerange’s Jimpster, Running Back’s Gerd Janson, Wobble’s Terry Francis and a live set from man of the moment Tensnake! Room 2. hosts Andrew Weatherall’s Wrong Meeting and he is joined by Ivan Smagghe and Pierre LX!

Taking a brief pause from East Village until the Autumn, we move to the lovely japanese-inspired Fluid.  Housed on the same road as Fabric, Fluid is an intimate 300 capacity space over two floors. So here’s the chance to cosy up close and personal..

In the basement, SHUR-I-KAN joins your huggable ressies POUSSEZ, whilst our very own EIGHTBITRATE, fresh from Holic and Muak, headlines upstairs alongside Artizan compadre W10, london DJ Nick Ronin, aka winner in our Podcast comp and man behind the Basis parties. We also have POJ of mixed Grill fame, cooking up a storm and promising UTBD newcomer Owen Howells, who has so impressed us with his up and coming productions. He’ll be setting the scene and easing us all in to a delicious, cosmic disco trouble-bath. Rounding proceedings off, our lethal percussionist Lil Dom and his magical hands of steel…get some!
